It's not clear to me if you still need to install drivers, apart from OLA, to get the Enttec opendmx device working under Linux. After successfully compiling and installing OLA the Enttec dongle isn't attached to /dev/dmx0 (as expected by OLA) but to /dev/ttyUSB0, but even setting that as address doesn't give any results after patching and running ola_dmxconsole.

EDIT: apparently it is, indeed, still necessary to install the driver. I've build the driver (kernel module) as indicated in the old tutorial [[LLA_and_Q_Light_Controller_Ubuntu_Tutorial]], rebooted and it worked!
