My name is Nikolai Beier, I'm from Aalborg, Denmark.

I am educated "electronics technician" with an apprenticeship at Bang & Olufsen. Now I study engineering in electronics at Aalborg university (9. semester starts September 2009, meaning that I am a bachelor of science in electronic engineering, taking a master/candidate in Radio Frequency electronics) Here at the uni, I got involved in the Student Society where I take care of the sound and light gear.

My interest in DMX started when "we" needed at better DMX controller to ease the use of our four moving heads.

My main interest is Linux software (controller and drivers) and USB->DMX interfaces with buffered outputs and galvanic isolation.
