We tried this September the first time to use DMX over Wlan in Klangwolke of Ars Electronica in a professional show - first with DD-WRT, which did not function at all - WDS did not work at all (our need is client to client, not client to Internet), client mode worked, but extremely long delays, net breaking down .... then we bought new routers and run it with the original firmware of Buffalo - it worked somehow, but also delays and sometime it broke down (we only had 4 Universes) - so we only used it for programming in the night and did not use it during the show.
